Case 46
Presentation:
History:
74-year-old male with history of prostate cancer on hormonal therapy. He also has a history of lymphoma diagnosed localized to the right axilla. Known Paget's disease in the right hemipelvis, sacrum and right clavicle.
This is a bone scan from 2 years ago. Describe the findings.

Findings: Heterogeneous uptake is observed in the right hemipelvis, sacrum and the right clavicle. There is also a bony lesion in the left frontal bone. A comparison with the prior bone scan indicates that the skull lesion is new, likely in keeping with a bone metastasis. Some of the remaining lesions show an interval increase in uptake intensity, possibly due to worsening Paget's disease. However, metastases or superimposed bony metastases cannot be entirely excluded.
